Kegel’s Produce was pleased to sponsor the LeSean McCoy Football Camp earlier this week at Penn Manor High School in Millersville. This event, attended by over 80 aspiring football players, was run by local native LeSean McCoy from Harrisburg. LeSean played high school football for Bishop McDevitt in Harrisburg before being a running back for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers. In 2009, he was selected with the 53rd overall pick in the NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles.

At the three-day camp, students were taught fundamentals of the game, strength and conditioning drills, and the necessity of having a strong work ethic to accomplish your goals. In addition to lessons on football, campers were also treated to a food demonstration by Chef Bill Scepansky on the importance of healthy eating, with everyone recieving slices of fresh fruits.
